Abstract

The deep learning model, as proposed by Abdul Mu`ti, emphasizes a mindful, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experience, allowing students not only to memorize but to deeply understand and internalize the material. This study aims to examine the implementation of the deep learning model in the context of primary and secondary education in Indonesia through a literature review method. Based on the analysis of various recent sources, it was found that this model contributes positively to enhancing critical thinking skills, active participation, and student engagement in the learning process. However, several challenges in its implementation were also identified, including limitations in infrastructure, teacher readiness, and the constraints of the traditional curriculum that hinder flexibility. This article offers recommendations to support more effective deep learning implementation, particularly by strengthening teacher training and providing adequate facilities. With the right support, this model holds great potential to optimize the quality of education in Indonesia, preparing a highly competitive generation.

Abstract

The global water crisis, disaster-conflict linkages, and the impact of various crises on women's mental health and well-being require a gender-mainstreaming policy approach to climate change. The implementation of a gender mainstreaming approach requires a public space for women, as a space for autonomy to voice issues and produce policies that are in line with women's interests. This article examines how public space can be present in discussions on gender mainstreaming in climate change. This article aims to elaborate on the public sphere that will interpret gender mainstreaming of climate change. The method in this article uses library research, which collects data by understanding and studying theories from various literatures. The research results in the public sphere combining discursive democracy and complex problem-solving rationality, which is not centralized planning but an open society to realize policies. The discourse of gender mainstreaming can be utilized by women's groups whose knowledge capacity is improving through public space to discuss their interests related to climate change. The public space in Indonesia uses the development planning deliberation (musrenbang) from the local to the national level.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Pancasila Education in the Merdeka Curriculum at SMK Negeri 8 Kota Tangerang Selatan. Using a qualitative approach and in-depth interviews, the research reveals that project-based learning methods enhance students` independence and active participation in the learning processs. Projects such as creating videos on nationalism enable students to apply Pancasila values in real-world contexts. However, limited resource support from the education authorities poses significant challenges. Pancasila Education teacher, Ms. Nadya Kartika Putri, emphasized the importance of project-based evaluation to comprehensively assess students` understanding. This study highlights the need for collaboration between schools and policymakers to improve learning effectiveness. In conclusion, the Merdeka Curriculum positively impacts students` understanding of Pancasila values, through better support is necessary for optimal implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the environmental and social impacts caused by gold mining activities in Banyuwangi, as well as the role of the community in the management of natural resources related to mining. The method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with local communities, government, and mining companies, as well as documentary analysis. The results show that gold mining in Banyuwangi has caused significant environmental damage, including water pollution, ecosystem destruction, and land degradation. Moreover, the social impact is the community's economic dependence on mining, which leads to changes in lifestyle and social inequality. The involvement of the community in environmental management is limited, with participation mainly focused on socio-economic aspects without considering long-term environmental sustainability. This study suggests that mining policies in Banyuwangi should be more inclusive by involving the community at every stage of planning and natural resource management. This is expected to reduce the negative impacts of mining on the environment and improve the sustainability of natural resources in the area.

Abstract

Extraordinary crisis of morality along with the development and progress of the times. So understanding the historical values of struggle, especially nationalism, is important. The former Fort Vredeburg building was not intended for the purpose of preserving a symbol of Dutch colonial might and glory, but was directed to obtain a new function that could provide information and aspirations of the national struggle for future generations. For this reason, the Fort Vredeburg building is used as a museum of the National Struggle which is unique and second to none in Indonesia, so this research was conducted to determine the existence of the Fort Vredeburg Museum in Yogyakarta as a means of nationalist education. This research is qualitative research using literature study methods from various sources. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. The results of the research are: first, Understanding Nationalism of PPKn IPI Garut Students After a Visit to the Fort Vredeburg Museum. This proves that a visit to the Fort Vredeburg Museum can provide students with an understanding of nationalism by being able to enrich information. Second, the use of the Vredeburg Fort Museum Gallery as a means of nationalist education. This means that the Museum Gallery can provide nationalist education with interesting visualizations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Ethical Issues in political education as one of the important aspects in shaping public awareness and participation in a Democratic system. However, ethical issues in political education are often overlooked. In this context, it is important to identify ethical values that should underline the practice of political education. The impact of Bias and Propaganda in political education can be very detrimental, not only to individuals, but also to society as a whole. Bias in education can create a false understanding of political issues and reduce an individual's ability to actively participate in the democratic process. This study uses a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. This mixed approach was chosen to provide a deeper understanding of the phenomenon of bias and propaganda in political education. By combining both methods, researcher can obtain more comprehensive and valid.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the history and local wisdom related to Braga Permai, to its transformation from Maison Bogerijen to Braga Permai. The method used in this study is qualitative based on the data from the results of observations made to observe directly and the dynamics that occur in the field. As well as using literature studies to help researchers to understand existing theories by involving summarizing and analyzing information from various written sources, such as books, journal articles, and other relevant documents. With this qualitative approach, it is hoped that the research can produce more holistic and contextual findings, as well as make a meaningful contribution to the understanding of the phenomenon that Maison Bogerijen is being researched by Leendert van Bogerijen in 1918, which was originally the resting place of the French king and a gathering place for Dutch East Indies officials. The colonial era influenced various aspects of life, including culinary, with one of its culinary legacies being Braga Permai in Bandung. The restaurant retains elements of history, grand architecture, and a typical European menu, while adapting to the local culture by adding local menus and services. Its main attractions include its famous bread, bitterballen, tongue steak, and lamb chop.  The staff at maison bogerijen is known to be very responsive to visitors' requests and queries, many visitors report that this friendly service enhances their dining experience, making for enthusiasm and good knowledge. Its popularity is supported by word-of-mouth promotion and social media influence. Braga Permai emphasizes inclusivity, accepting customers from various walks of life, and maintaining original recipes.  With a commitment to maintaining cultural values and service quality, Braga Permai remains the main culinary destination in Bandung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how education in the Cireundeu Traditional Village contributes to the preservation of local knowledge, particularly with regard to understanding cultural values ​​and customs that have passed down through the generations. The Cireundeu Traditional Village case study employs a qualitative methodology that includes in-depth interviews with community members, educators, and traditional authorities. The study's findings show that formal and informal education are integrated in Cireundeu, where traditional and cultural values ​​are taught through everyday activities and formal education in schools. Furthermore, this study discovered that the Cireundeu community's customs are successfully maintained and preserved using this local wisdom-based strategy. According to the study's findings, the government should support the incorporation of local wisdom into Indonesia's formal education system since it can serve as a template for cultural preservation in other areas.

Moral education is a planned effort carried out by someone to change attitudes, behaviors, and actions carried out by someone so that they are able to interact with their environment, in accordance with the values ​​and morals that already exist in society. Moral education will also make a child more humane. Abstract

Fraud is a serious threat that can harm companies and undermine stakeholder trust. This study aims to examine the crucial role of internal auditors in fraud prevention and detection efforts, as well as analyze the factors influencing their effectiveness. Through a literature review of several studies published in accredited national and international accounting and auditing journals between 2018 and 2024, it was found that internal auditors play not only a supervisory role but also a strategic partner role in enhancing internal control systems and fostering an anti-fraud culture. The results of the study indicate that the competence and experience of auditors, their independence, top management support, and the use of information technology are key factors in optimizing the role of internal auditors in mitigating fraud risks. This study recommends that companies strengthen the internal audit function, enhance auditor competence, and utilize information technology in auditing to effectively prevent and detect fraud.
