Abstract

Pendidikan di luar sekolah, terutama dalam konteks keluarga dan masyarakat, memiliki peranan yang sangat signifikan dalam pembentukan karakter serta peningkatan kompetensi individu. Selain pendidikan formal yang diperoleh di sekolah, keluarga bertindak sebagai lingkungan pertama yang membentuk nilai-nilai moral, etika, dan keterampilan sosial anak-anak. Peranan orang tua sebagai pendidik utama memiliki dampak yang krusial terhadap perkembangan intelektual dan emosional anak. Di sisi lain, masyarakat juga memberikan kontribusi dalam mendukung proses pendidikan melalui berbagai aktivitas sosial, budaya, dan teknologi yang dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar. Namun, terdapat sejumlah isu yang dihadapi dalam pendidikan di luar sekolah, di antaranya kurangnya perhatian orang tua dalam mendampingi anak-anak, keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber daya pendidikan di komunitas tertentu, serta dampak negatif dari perkembangan teknologi dan lingkungan sosial yang mungkin tidak mendukung. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sinergi yang baik antara keluarga, masyarakat, dan lembaga pendidikan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif dan berkelanjutan, demi mendukung perkembangan anak secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas tentang isu pendidikan di luar sekolah yang terdapat pada keluarga dan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research). AbstractOut-of-school education, especially in the context of family and community, plays a very important role in building character and enhancing individual competencies. In addition to the formal education received at school, the family is the first environment that shapes children's moral values, ethics and social skills. The role of parents as primary educators has a crucial impact on the intellectual and emotional development of children. On the other hand, the community also contributes to the educational process through various social, cultural and technological activities that can enrich the learning experience. However, there are a number of problems in out-of-school education, including lack of parental attention in accompanying children, limited access to educational resources in certain communities, as well as the negative impact of technological developments and social environments that may not be supportive. Therefore, a good synergy between families, communities and educational institutions is needed to create an effective and sustainable learning environment to support the optimal development of children. This research aims to discuss the issue of out-of-school education in families and communities. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of library research.
