<![CDATA[This study was conducted because the critical thinking skills of students in education were relatively low because students were still unable to follow the learning pattern of critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students’ critical thinking skills after the application of the PBL model assisted by PhET media on vibration and wave material. This study used a quasi-experimental design methodand was carried out at the UPTD SMPN 4 Bangkalan. The study population was all students of class VIII in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique. The sample used was class VIII-A. The analysis technique for increasing students’ critical thinking skills used the N-gain test. The results showed that there was an increase in students’ critical thinking skills after the application of the PBL model assisted by PhET media with an average N-gain result of 0,62 in the moderate category. ]]>
