<![CDATA[Senopati Senior High School Sedati, located at JL Senopati No. 2 Betro, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, carries out its educational activities under the vision of politeness in behavior, serenity and peace of mind, and excellence in both performance and quality. To realize this vision, the school adopts missions that emphasize effective learning, potential development, cultivation of religious values, participatory management, discipline, and dedication. In line with these missions, the school received a community service team from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Wijaya Kusuma, which conducted a preliminary survey to identify existing problems. The survey revealed several cases involving online loans (pinjaman online) that entrapped both teachers and students, resulting in material and immaterial losses. This situation occurred due to a lack of awareness regarding the dangers of online loans, which made individuals vulnerable to such offers. The issue poses a serious risk not only to the teachers and students but also to the institution. Therefore, legal counseling on preventive legal protection for debtors in online loans is urgently needed.
