<![CDATA[The overarching objectives of this research were to find out the issues and challenges in implementation of the ISO 21001:2018 standard at Higher Education Institutions. This article employs a literature review approach, gathering information from a variety of articles. The main findings highlight the key obstacles to ISO 21001:2018 implementation, including resource constraints and organizational resistance. The findings can guide Higher Education Institutions in overcoming implementation challenges and improving their compliance with ISO 21001:2018, ultimately enhancing the quality of educational services. This study contributes new insights into the specific challenges faced by Higher Education Institutions in adopting ISO 21001:2018, offering practical recommendations for overcoming these hurdles and advancing the understanding of quality management in educational settings. ]]>
