Abstract

The background of this research is based on the needs of students and the resolution of various issues faced by students, which serves as a significant motivation for a counselor to continually enhance their performance through personality, skills, creativity, knowledge, and competencies they possess. One of the areas that counselors should improve is their mastery of various techniques that can be applied in the counseling process to help address client problems. This type of research is qualitative in nature and employs a literature review approach, specifically, the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The general objective of this research is to describe the performance of counselors. Based on the analysis, it was found that the journaling technique can be applied in addressing student issues.

Abstract

Adolescents face various developmental challenges, ranging from academic demands, social relationships, to the search for identity, all of which can affect how they assess themselves. This study aims to determine the effect of body image on students' self-confidence and its implications for guidance and counseling services. The research design used a quantitative correlational approach. The study sample consisted of 138 grade 10 students selected using a stratified random sampling method. The instruments used were the Body Image Inventory and the self-confidence Inventory. Data analysis was carried out using simple regression techniques and correlational analysis. The results showed that body image significantly influenced students' self-confidence. In addition, it was found that adolescents' self-confidence was in the moderate category, body image was in the neutral category, and both had a significant positive relationship.

Abstract

This study critically evaluates the effectiveness and applicability of the ISO 21001:2018 standard as a framework for quality assurance in higher education institutions. The research aims to examine how the standard’s principles such as organizational context, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and continual improvement are implemented and adapted to the unique characteristics of higher education. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study analyzes empirical findings from institutional documentation, interviews with quality managers, and secondary literature related to educational management systems. Results reveal that ISO 21001:2018 provides a structured and globally recognized model for enhancing educational quality through data-driven decision-making, risk-based thinking, and stakeholder-centered management. However, its full applicability is challenged by contextual factors such as institutional autonomy, cultural diversity, and resource disparities across universities. Despite these limitations, the study concludes that ISO 21001:2018 remains a valuable tool for promoting transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within academic institutions, provided that its implementation is contextualized to align with higher education governance and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif merupakan suatu proses penanganan dan respons terhadap berbagai kebutuhan semua peserta didik dengan meningkatkan partisipasi dalam pembelajaran, budaya, masyarakat, dan mengurangi eksklusivitas dalam pendidikan. Dalam praktiknya, implementasi pendidikan inklusif belum sepenuhnya terlaksana dengan baik, seperti belum menerapkan kurikulum yang fleksibel dan bahkan belum memiliki program pembelajaran individual bagi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan 30 orang guru program pendidikan anak usia dini se-Kecamatan Pangarangan, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten mengenai konsep pendidikan inklusif dan praktik pembuatan Individualized Education Program (IEP) bagi anak usia dini berkebutuhan khusus. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui pendekatan penelitian tindakan partisipatif, yang melibatkan beberapa tahap: asesmen kebutuhan, penyiapan materi, lokakarya tatap muka, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi. Peserta terlibat dalam ceramah, diskusi, dan latihan interaktif, yang berpuncak pada pengembangan rencana pembelajaran individual. Luaran dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini selain peserta mendapatkan ilmu yang bermanfaat adalah artikel ilmiah.
