Abstract

Kesenian tradisional Dodod merupakan warisan budaya masyarakat Kampung Pamatang, Pandeglang, yang memiliki nilai spiritual, sosial, dan edukatif. Namun, eksistensinya menghadapi tantangan berupa lemahnya regenerasi pelaku seni, minimnya promosi digital, serta rendahnya minat generasi muda. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan melakukan revitalisasi kesenian Dodod melalui pendekatan digitalisasi, integrasi pendidikan, dan pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumentasi, serta analisis data model Miles & Huberman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa (1) digitalisasi melalui media sosial (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) efektif meningkatkan eksposur Dodod; (2) integrasi ke dalam muatan lokal sekolah dasar memperkuat apresiasi budaya dan regenerasi pelaku seni; dan (3) pengembangan Dodod sebagai atraksi wisata budaya dan produk kreatif membuka peluang ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Dukungan masyarakat, sekolah, sanggar seni, dan pemerintah daerah menjadi faktor penting dalam keberlanjutan program. Dengan demikian, revitalisasi Dodod tidak hanya menjaga identitas budaya lokal, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi nyata pada pembangunan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat. The traditional art of Dodod is a cultural heritage of the Pamatang community in Pandeglang, Banten, carrying deep spiritual, social, and educational values. However, its existence faces several challenges, including weak regeneration of performers, limited digital promotion, and the declining interest of younger generations. This community service program aims to revitalize Dodod through digitalization, educational integration, and the development of creative economy initiatives. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, using interviews, observations, and documentation analysis, with data analyzed through the Miles & Huberman interactive model. The results show that (1) digital promotion via social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok effectively increased public exposure to Dodod; (2) integrating Dodod into local content curricula in elementary schools strengthened cultural appreciation and supported the regeneration of performers; and (3) developing Dodod as a cultural tourism attraction and creative product opened new economic opportunities for the local community. The strong support of local communities, schools, art groups, and regional government serves as a crucial factor for the sustainability of this program. In conclusion, Dodod revitalization not only preserves local cultural identity but also contributes significantly to the growth of the community’s creative economy.
