This study aims to determine shipping companies' satisfaction with the performance of cadets from the Polytechnic of Banten Shipping during sea practice. The method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 141 respondents consisting of recruitment staff and supervising officers on ships. Data were analyzed using linear regression analysis and percentage. The results showed that overall, cadet performance received a positive perception with an average value above 85% in all aspects, namely: technical knowledge and skills (86.64%), attitude and work ethics (90.20%), safety and security (88.19%), managerial and leadership skills (85.94%), interpersonal skills (88.48%), and self-development and professionalism (85.39%). The conclusion of this study is that shipping companies are satisfied with the performance of Poltekpel Banten cadets, with recommendations for improvement in aspects of maritime law and certain technical abilities.
