<![CDATA[This research aims to inventory the types of plants used by the community as medicine in Rano village, Balaesang Tanjung sub-district, and their utilization as a learning medium. The type of research conducted is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. This research uses primary data obtained directly from interviews and field observations, employing a survey method with purposive sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews with the community, and field observations. A shaman (sando) is a key figure who possesses knowledge about the use of medicinal plants. The research results show that there are 22 types of medicinal plants from 14 families used by the community to treat various diseases, including rheumatism, asthma, high blood pressure (hypertension), itching, scabies, cough, flu, and others. The parts of the plant that are used are the leaves, stem, fruit, roots, bark, shoots, sap, and all parts of the plant that are utilized. Methods of use include pounding, boiling, applying, and direct consumption. Thus, it can be concluded that the results of this study are suitable to be utilized as instructional media in the form of an e-book.]]>
