This study aims to analyze the leadership profile of the principal and evaluate the five competencies required by the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 6 of 2018. This study was conducted at SD Athahiriyah Yapis Wamena, an elementary school located in an urban area. The research subjects consisted of several parties who have important roles in the leadership and management process of the school, namely the principal, two senior teachers, and School Program documentation. Data collection techniques in this study combined a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, direct observation, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Based on the results of observation and analysis, the principal at SD Athahiriyah Yapis Wamena demonstrates leadership based on collaboration and open communication. This leadership style is effective in building a school culture that supports innovation and teacher development. Although the principal demonstrates good competency in academic supervision, exemplary behavior, and open communication, there are shortcomings in rule enforcement and discipline management that need to be improved. The implemented innovation programs, such as literacy and digitalization, have had a positive impact on the quality of education, but need to be strengthened to ensure their sustainability. Furthermore, spiritual values such as the Dhuha prayer have been implemented, but their implementation still needs to be expanded across all aspects of the school.
