<![CDATA[nbsp;< strong>< p> ABSTRAK< strong>< p> Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo melalui model pembelajaran problem based learning< em> Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas Subjek yang dikenai tindakan adalah seluruh siswa di kelas VII 5 SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo yang berjumlah nbsp; 24 orang Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi angket observasi dan dokumentasi Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari keseluruhan hasil analisis data baik data observasi awal maupun data pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2 menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap tahapan penelitian Pada saat observasi awal motivasi belajar siswa di Kelas VII 5 SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo dengan jumlah siswa 24 orang hanya terdapat 9 siswa yang mencapai KKM 75 atau 37 5 dan siswa belum mencapai KKM yaitu 15 siswa atau 62 5 namun setelah diberikan tindakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning< em> pada siklus 1 siswa yang mencapai KKM nbsp;meningkat menjadi 16 siswa atau 66 67 dan siswa yang belum mencapai KKM nbsp;adalah 8 siswa atau 33 33 sedangkan pada siklus 2 mengalami peningkatan hingga mencapai 22 siswa atau 91 67 mencapai KKM dan 2 siswa atau 8 33 belum mencapai KKM Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis tindakan yang berbunyi; Jika dalam pembelajaran digunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning< em> maka motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS di Kelas VII 5 SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango Provinsi Gorontalo akan meningkat maka penelitian ini dinyatakan berhasil atau hipotesisnya diterima < p> Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning< em> Minat Belajar Siswa Pembelajaran IPS< strong>< p> nbsp;< strong>< p> nbsp;< strong>< p> ABSTRACT< strong>< p> The aim of this research is to increase students learning motivation in social studies subjects in Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango Regency Gorontalo Province through a problem based learning model The research model used is classroom action research The subjects subject to action were all 24 students in class VII 5 of SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango Regency Gorontalo Province Data collection techniques include questionnaires observation and documentation The research results show that from the overall results of data analysis both initial observation data and data in cycle 1 and cycle 2 show that there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes at each stage of the research At the time of initial observation student learning motivation in Class VII 5 of SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango Regency Gorontalo Province with a total of 24 students only 9 students had reached the KKM 75 or 37 5 and 15 students had not yet reached the KKM or 62 5 but after being given learning actions using the problem based learning model in cycle 1 students who reached the KKM increased to 16 students or 66 67 and students who had not yet reached the KKM were 8 students or 33 33 while in cycle 2 experienced an increase until 22 students or 91 67 reached the KKM and 2 students or 8 33 had not yet reached the KKM Based on the results of this research it can be concluded that the action hypothesis reads; If the problem based learning model is used in learning students learning motivation in social studies subjects in Class VII 5 of SMP Negeri 1 Tilongkabila Bone Bolango Regency Gorontalo Province will increase then this research is declared successful or the hypothesis is accepted < p> Keywords: Problem Based Learning Student Interest in Learning Social Studies Learning< strong>< p> nbsp;< p>]]>
