Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan religious subjectivity pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan (FITK) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan menggunakan modus subjektivitas keagamaan Abdullah Sahin yang dikembangkan dari kerangka status identitas James Marcia (diffusion, foreclosure, moratorium, dan achievement). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek penelitian berada pada status foreclosure, moratorium, dan achievement, dan tidak ditemukan responden dengan status diffusion. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa agama menyediakan ruang ideologis, sosial, dan spiritual yang khas bagi eksplorasi dan pembentukan komitmen identitas keagamaan mahasiswa.
