The diversity of student characteristics, especially learning styles, is an element that teachers should pay attention to when planning learning with a differentiated approach. This research leads to the identification of the learning styles of class V students and describes the application of ethnic Kalimantan differentiated learning in mathematics subjects. The research site was conducted at SDN Cindai Alus 1 Martapura with the research subjects of students in classes VA, VB, and VC. The approach used in this study uses quantitative with a descriptive method. In the data collection process, the researcher used VAK (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) instruments to reveal the learning styles of students. The findings of the study show that each individual has a tendency to have different learning styles, with a tendency to dominate auditory learning styles. The identification results are used as a basis for implementing differentiated learning. Teachers use different learning methods and media such as videos and flascards for visual students, lecture and discussion methods for auditory students, and the use of geoboard media for kinesthetic students. In his learning, the concept of building flat is integrated with culture, namely Kalimantan food as a form of learning based on Kalimantan Ethno. The existence of learning style mapping can be the basis for determining differentiated learning strategies combined with local culture so as to provide a varied, contextual and meaningful learning experience for elementary school students
