In learning Arabic, it can be seen that the lack of mufradat ability is a problem for some students, where this can hinder learning consistency as well as improving students' Arabic language skills, mufradat ability is one of the important factors which if not mastered properly, it can hinder the learning process and students' understanding of Arabic. The lack of mufradat ability is caused by several factors, one of which is the limitation of interesting learning media. This study aims to determine the difference in improving the ability of mufradat of fourth grade students of MI M Three in Arabic language learning in classes that get ice cream stick media and picture media. The samples selected were classes IV A and IV B , comprising a total of 40 students. Tis study utilized image based media as a point of comparison to demonstrate the relative advantages of ice cream stick media over other visual based media. This study proves that ice cream stick media can improve students' mufradat ability between experimental and control classes, seen based on the independent t test on the N -Gain Score obtained a value of <.001 the results of this study indicate an increase in students' mufradat ability in Arabic language learning grade IV who follow learning using ice cream stick media better than those who follow learning using image media.
