<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the representation of Feminine Energy in the Get Ready With Me (GRWM) content produced by Shasa Zhania on the TikTok platform. The widespread Feminine Energy trend on TikTok raises the need to critically examine how this concept is constructed and represented in women’s everyday content. The research employs a qualitative approach with an interpretive paradigm and Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis through three stages of meaning: denotation, connotation, and myth. The object of study is a single GRWM video uploaded by the @_shaz account on 1 March 2025, purposively selected because it contains all three indicators of Feminine Energy completely. Data were collected through non-participant observation and documentation. The findings show that Feminine Energy is represented through three indicators: self-care, feminine aesthetics, and self-reflection. At the denotative level, the content displays skincare and makeup activities, pastel-toned clothing, and a personal narrative about a romantic relationship. At the connotative level, these signs construct the meaning of a woman who is gentle, calm, and able to manage her emotions stably. At the mythical level, Feminine Energy is naturalized as the image of the ideal woman who is well-groomed, harmonious, and balanced between physical appearance and emotional condition, through consistent visual and narrative repetition within TikTok’s digital space. The novelty of this study lies in its semiotic analysis of how Feminine Energy is constructed in GRWM content, an area that has received limited attention in previous research. Meanwhile, the main contribution of this study is to provide a more critical way of reading social media content as a cultural text, particularly within the fields of communication, gender studies, and digital media literacy.]]>
