The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Society 5.0 era has accelerated the transformation of educational management, including within Islamic educational institutions. However, AI implementation continues to face significant challenges, including limited digital leadership competencies, inadequate integration of AI into educational management systems, and the need to ensure that technological innovation remains aligned with Islamic values. This study aims to analyze the transformation of AI-based Islamic educational management, examine the role of educational leadership in facilitating AI implementation, and develop an integrative model to support institutional transformation in the Society 5.0 era. This research employed a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data were collected from national and international journal articles, books, and academic publications published between 2020 and 2025. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis through coding, theme categorization, interpretation, and synthesis. The findings indicate that AI enhances educational management by automating administrative processes, improving data management, enabling data-driven decision-making, and strengthening educational services. Successful AI implementation is strongly influenced by visionary educational leadership, digital competency development, and governance grounded in Islamic values. This study proposes the Integrative AI-Based Islamic Education Management model, which integrates AI, educational leadership, and Islamic values into a comprehensive conceptual framework for adaptive, innovative, ethical, and sustainable transformation of Islamic educational management in the Society 5.0 era.
