White Key product is one type of multiple cavity mold produced by PT. Wijara Plastics Indonesia using plastic raw materials that are required to use 100% virgin material, name AS plastic (acrylonitrile-styrene resin), where the material is recorded in the Purchasing Department of PT. Wijara Plastics Indonesia as a material with an expensive price of Rp132.210.00. In addition to being a multiple cavity mold, the White Key mold uses a cold runner system. So it is certain that the White Key mold has a long runner, where the runner is part of the product that is not used. The obligation to use 100% virgin material results in the runner not being able to be reused. Therefore, the runner part of the White Key product is categorized as waste. The research conducted resulted in the White Key mold design by changing the cold runner system to a hot runner. The applied Hot Sprue Bush technology can save the use of AS plastic raw materials (acrylonitrile-styrene resin) reaching 780 kg in a year which saves costs of Rp103.123.800.
