<![CDATA[Improving the quality of education requires a quality assurance system that is not only oriented toward administrative aspects but also capable of creating meaningful, contextual, and sustainable learning. This study is based on the limitations of the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), which remains focused on fulfilling administrative standards and has not fully developed a quality culture to support deep learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of a local culture-based SPMI and its contribution to improving the quality of deep learning at SD Negeri Karangsari. The research employed a mixed methods approach with an explanatory sequential design through interviews, observations, documentation, deep learning assessments, and student engagement scales. The results showed that local culture-based SPMI had a positive and significant relationship with deep learning, with a correlation coefficient of 0.71 and a contribution of 51% with R² = 0.51. These findings confirm that local culture can serve as a foundation for developing quality standards, evaluation indicators, and school improvement strategies that are relevant to community characteristics while strengthening a sustainable school quality culture.]]>
