<![CDATA[The Hujan Karya activity is an implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach in the Music Education course within the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Program, aimed at strengthening students’ soft skills in traditional music performance. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and documentation of the Hujan Karya activity, which involved students in designing, practicing, and performing traditional music compositions collaboratively. The findings indicate that the activity was effective in enhancing students’ collaboration, communication, discipline, responsibility, creativity, and self-confidence. In addition, students demonstrated improved technical skills in playing traditional musical instruments such as gamelan, angklung, and other regional instruments. The implementation of Project-Based Learning through the Hujan Karya activity successfully bridged the balance between theoretical understanding and practical application while fostering students’ appreciation and love for Indonesia’s traditional musical heritage. The soft skills developed through this activity are expected to serve as valuable competencies for PGSD students as future elementary school teachers in delivering creative, innovative, and contextual music education.]]>
