This research is motivated by the phenomenon of cognitive dissonance in students of SDK Kolimasang, where there is a gap between the Christian values taught and the real behavior of students as seen from the behavior of lack of respect for teachers, indiscipline, and disrespect for friends. This shows that although the implementation of the independent curriculum has begun, its effectiveness still needs to be strengthened, both in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning in order to realize the goals of religious education that form Christian character comprehensively. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in PAK learning at SDK Kolimasang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at SDK Kolimasang, involving 8 research subjects consisting of PAK teachers, principals, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data shows that the implementation of the independent curriculum in PAK learning has not been fully effective in overcoming cognitive dissonance between the Christian values taught and the real behavior of students. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen the pedagogical competence of teachers in designing and implementing innovative, contextual and holistic learning strategies to ensure the internalization of Christian values more effectively and sustainably in the lives of students.
