<![CDATA[This study examines the integration of the concepts of ilm (knowledge) and amal (practice) in Islamic education based on Imam Al-Ghazali’s perspective at MTs Zainul Irsyad Probolinggo. The objective is to analyze how the balance between cognitive knowledge and behavioral practice contributes to the formation of insan kamil (perfect human) within an educational setting. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field study method, involving observation and documentation of religious learning and habituation activities. The findings indicate that the integration of ilm and amal is manifested through classroom theory implementation, routine congregational prayers, and consistent character guidance provided by teachers acting as role models (uswah hasanah). The school succeeds in transforming theoretical knowledge into daily positive habits, thereby strengthening students' moral, spiritual, and intellectual balance. The study concludes that education must go beyond academic achievement to prioritize character formation through the consistent practice of religious values. This integration serves as a significant model for creating a generation that is not only intellectually proficient but also morally responsible, ensuring that knowledge remains a guiding light rather than a mere burden.]]>
