The intensity of social interaction within the academic community gives rise to linguistic variations in the form of code-mixing and/or code-switching. The study aims to analyze the forms of code-mixing and code-switching, as well as the factors driving them, during student communication at Universitas Peradaban. A qualitative approach utilizing a descriptive method was employed. Data were derived from student utterances during multicultural interactions on the Universitas Peradaban campus, collected via the "listen-and-record" technique. The findings reveal 13 instances of code-mixing and code-switching in communication. Code-switching involved the use of Sundanese, Javanese, and Indonesian. Code-mixing manifested through the use of Indonesian, Sundanese, and Javanese at the word and phrase levels—specifically terms such as "poho," "mah," "hayang," "sare," "nyong," "sing," "anane," and "ngko disdit." The underlying causes identified were (1) identity, (2) situation, (3) familiarity, and (4) language proficiency.
