<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the importance of strengthening interreligious tolerance in multicultural public universities, considering that student diversity has the potential to trigger conflicts if not managed wisely. This qualitative case study aims to analyze students' tolerance attitudes, strategies for strengthening tolerance through religious education, as well as the challenges and solutions at Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with informants selected purposively, including students from various faculties, religious education lecturers, and monitoring team members. The findings reveal that students' tolerance attitudes are reflected in their appreciation of the existence and worship practices of other religions, inclusive social interactions, and avoidance of syncretism. Efforts to strengthen tolerance are pursued through curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular channels, including the Tafaqquh Fiddin student organization, UK3 (Christian Spiritual Activity Unit), and the Religious Moderation Center. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, such as limited worship facilities for non-Muslim students, a shortage of Catholic religious education lecturers, and the suboptimal implementation of interfaith dialogue-based learning. Proposed solutions encompass inclusive policies, the provision of temporary prayer rooms, and the reinforcement of interfaith activities to foster a harmonious and conducive campus climate for all members of the academic community]]>
