<![CDATA[Traffic safety is essential to protecting school-age children as vulnerable road users. SD Negeri 002 Bongkal Malang, Kelayang District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, is located alongside a busy provincial road, making education necessary to improve students’ safety awareness and behavior. This Community Service Program aimed to improve the knowledge, skills, and awareness of fifth-grade students regarding traffic safety through a School Safety Zone (ZoSS) simulation. The method used was Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), consisting of observation, a pre-test, teaching materials, ZoSS simulation, educational games, a post-test, and evaluation. The activity involved 26 fifth-grade students, supported by teachers and Civil Engineering students from ITB Indragiri. The results showed an increase in the average score from 55.77 in the pre-test to 90.00 in the post-test, representing an improvement of approximately 61.38%. Most students also demonstrated good to very good simulation skills and attitudes. Simulation-based ZoSS education effectively improved students’ knowledge, skills, and awareness of traffic safety and has the potential to be implemented sustainably as a learning model in schools.]]>
