<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the varied levels of active participation among Catholic Youth (Orang Muda Katolik/OMK) in church life, where some are actively involved in ministries while others remain passive or distant. This study aims to deeply explore the meaning of the Eucharistic Celebration for the active involvement of OMK in church life. Using a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method, data were gathered through in-depth interviews with seven OMK informants from various ages, educational levels, and parish communities, supplemented by observation and documentation techniques. The data were then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal a direct causality between the depth of understanding the Eucharist and the consistency of OMK’s active participation. Younger OMK members often view the Eucharist as a religious obligation or spiritual refreshment, whereas more mature members reflect on it existentially as the source and summit (culmen et fons) of faith. Active participation is highly supported by supportive family faith socialization, inclusive pastoral approaches by pastors acting as companions, and spaces for liturgical self-actualization. Conversely, it is hindered by digital distractions, strict institutional structures, and time management constraints. The implications of this research suggest that the Church must continuously present vibrant liturgies, contextual formation, and user-friendly pastoral guidance to transform Eucharistic spiritual dimensions into practical community services]]>
