<![CDATA[This community service activity aims to increase social and cultural awareness through training on local heritage preservation in Lubuklinggau City. The activity was motivated by the decreasing public attention, especially the younger generation, to local cultural heritage due to the influence of globalization and modernization. The activity implementation method used a participatory and educational approach that included the stages of needs identification, material delivery, interactive discussions, local cultural heritage identification practices, and activity evaluation. The activity targets community leaders, youth, cultural communities, artists, and the general public who are concerned about regional cultural preservation. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of local cultural heritage, the importance of cultural preservation as a community identity, and the role of the community in maintaining the sustainability of regional culture. In addition, participants demonstrated an increase in social awareness marked by a growing sense of shared responsibility for local cultural preservation. This activity also succeeded in improving participants' abilities to identify, document, and promote cultural heritage through the use of digital media. The high level of participation and enthusiasm of participants during the activity demonstrated that local heritage preservation training is an effective strategy in strengthening community social and cultural awareness.]]>
