Vocational education plays a strategic role in preparing students to enter the workforce with competencies that meet industry demands. This study aims to evaluate the management of industrial internship programs in the Beauty Care department at SMK Labschool Unesa 1, particularly in enhancing students’ work skills. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with an evaluative method, focusing on the four components of the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data were collected through interviews with students who completed the internship program at partner salons using purposive sampling. The findings indicate a misalignment between the program guidelines and practical implementation, as most students engaged more in supporting activities rather than core services that develop technical skills. Furthermore, school supervision and mentoring mechanisms were not fully effective, limiting students’ opportunities for independent practice and work readiness. These results highlight the importance of systematic internship management evaluation, strengthened school–industry collaboration, and enhanced supervisory mechanisms to ensure vocational education objectives are fully achieved.
