This study aims to determine the implementation of principal supervision and its success in improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 1 Mandrehe Utara. The formulation of the problem in this study is: (1) How is the implementation of principal supervision in improving the quality of learning and (2) Is principal supervision successful in improving the quality of learning at the school? This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research informants consisted of the principal, two teachers, and four students. The results of the discussion concluded that: first, the implementation of principal supervision in improving the quality of learning has not been running optimally. This is caused by various obstacles, such as limited time for the principal, sudden activities, and variations in teacher motivation; there is no follow-up from the principal's supervision in following directions. Second, principal supervision has not been fully successful in improving the quality of learning at the school due to the difficulty of getting out of the comfort zone (old habits). Supervision becomes a one-time event that does not produce sustainable change and teachers know something is wrong, but do not correct it, only waiting for orders from the principal to change the error.
