The development of the halal industry has become an important strategy in strengthening sustainable economic growth, particularly through the integration of halal principles into agribusiness activities. Agribusiness micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a strategic role in building a sustainable halal ecosystem; however, many MSMEs still encounter challenges related to halal literacy, certification readiness, business management capability, and halal supply chain implementation This study aims to map the dimensions of halal industry readiness of halal industry implementation among agribusiness MSMEs as an initial foundation for developing a sustainable halal ecosystem. This study employs an exploratory descriptive approach based on literature analysis, secondary data examination, and conceptual framework development. The research identifies key dimensions of halal industry readiness among agribusiness MSMEs by integrating halal management theory, halal supply chain concepts, and regional agribusiness characteristics. The analysis focuses on five dimensions, including halal awareness, halal certification readiness, management capability, halal supply chain readiness, and institutional support. The analysis suggests that strengthening halal agribusiness ecosystems requires integrated strategies through education, certification assistance, managerial improvement, and digital transformation. This study provides a readiness mapping framework that can support the development of halal MSME empowerment models and sustainable halal agribusiness ecosystems.
