This study aims to analyze the antioxidant potential of gandaria fruit extract against carbon tetrachloride-induced free radicals based on complete blood profile analysis in experimental animals. The method used was a completely randomized design with 30 rats divided into six treatment groups, namely normal, negative, positive, and three gandaria fruit extract treatment groups at doses of 200, 400, and 600 mg/kg BW. The results showed that gandaria fruit extract had a significant effect in improving blood profile damage after CCl4 induction, contained alkaloids, flavonoids, steroids, terpenoids, saponins, and tannins, had total phenolic content of 6133 mg/kg, antioxidant inhibition activity of 81%, and an IC50 value of 90 ppm. In conclusion, gandaria fruit extract at a dose of 600 mg/kg BW was the best dose and showed potential as a hematoprotective agent.
