Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Motorik Halus Melalui Kegiatan Finger Painting Di Paud Persada Amanah Bangsa

Finger painting activities can train children’s fine motor skills through finger movements, while also supporting color and shape recognition, imagination, creativity, eye-hand coordination, concentration, and emotional expression. This study aims to improve children’s fine motor skills through finger painting activities at PAUD Persada Amanah Bangsa. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of three meetings and four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, interviews or discussions, field notes, and documentation. The results showed an improvement in children’s fine motor skills through finger painting activities. In the pre-cycle, only 13.33% of children achieved the expected criteria. The percentage increased to 46.67% in Cycle I and reached 80.00% in Cycle II. Thus, there was an overall increase of 66.67 percentage points from the pre-cycle to Cycle II. These findings indicate that finger painting activities can improve children’s fine motor skills at PAUD Persada Amanah Bangsa.
