Labibi Village possesses local food resources that can be developed into processed products with economic value. One commodity with development potential is *keladi* (taro). However, the community's utilization of taro remains limited; thus, processing innovations are needed to enhance its added value and marketability. The assistance program for producing taro chips aims to improve the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of the Labibi Village community in processing taro into food products that offer added value and business opportunities. The activity employs a participatory approach comprising observation, extension services, hands-on practice, evaluation, and ongoing guidance. The processing stages include raw material selection, peeling, washing, slicing, frying, draining, seasoning, and packaging. The results indicate that the community acquired new knowledge and skills regarding hygienic and systematic taro chip processing techniques. Beyond production skills, the community also gained an understanding of the importance of product quality, packaging, and marketing opportunities for business development. Providing assistance in processing local commodities serves as a strategy to increase the added value of agricultural produce and foster community economic empowerment. Through this initiative, taro chips are expected to be developed into a signature food product of Labibi Village with the potential for wider market reach.
