Suranadi Village, located in Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, is part of the Rinjani–Lombok Geopark area and has considerable natural, cultural, and tourism potential. In addition to the tourism sector, the village has a valuable local resource in the form of jackfruit, which has been utilized by the community through home-based industries to produce processed products such as jackfruit dodol and chips. One of the key groups involved in these processing activities is the Melati Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani/KWT Melati). Several community empowerment programs have previously been implemented to improve the capacity of KWT Melati, including product diversification, e-commerce-based marketing, and business legalization, supported by DRTPM in 2023. However, evaluation results indicated the need for a follow-up program to expand the market through product development, particularly the production of jackfruit floss. KWT Melati still faced limited knowledge and skills in producing jackfruit floss. Therefore, the community service team conducted training on jackfruit floss production using the Participatory Demonstrative Training method. The results showed an improvement in the partners' skills in producing jackfruit floss and presenting it in attractive packaging. Future training programs should be extended to the utilization of jackfruit by-products, particularly jackfruit seeds, locally known as beton, to create additional economic value.
