The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities to improve innovation and competitiveness in the agro-industry sector. However, the adoption of AI technology among farmers and small agroindustry entrepreneurs remains limited due to inadequate digital literacy and a lack of practical training. This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of farmers and agroindustry-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Malino Village, Gowa Regency, through training on the utilization of AI for business innovation and product development. The program employed a participatory approach consisting of preliminary needs assessment, interactive lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Participants were introduced to several AI platforms and guided to apply them in generating business ideas, designing product packaging, developing promotional content, and preparing digital marketing strategies based on local agroindustry products. The evaluation results indicated a substantial improvement in participants' understanding and practical skills in utilizing AI applications. Participants demonstrated greater confidence in integrating AI into their business activities, particularly in product innovation, branding, and digital promotion. The mentoring process also encouraged collaboration among farmers, MSME actors, and young farmers, creating a supportive learning environment for technology adoption. Overall, the program successfully strengthened participants' digital competencies and fostered a more positive perception of AI as a practical tool for agroindustry development. Continuous mentoring and collaboration with local stakeholders are recommended to ensure the sustainability of AI implementation and to support the digital transformation of rural agroindustry enterprises.
