<![CDATA[The novel as a literary work represents various moral issues in society while presenting religious values through the characters' life journeys. Brian Khrisna's Sisi Tergelap Surga portrays various forms of moral deviance accompanied by the characters' religious transformation. Although the novel has been examined from the perspectives of social values, social criticism, and social deviance, studies integrating the representation of moral deviance and religious transformation from the perspective of the sociology of literature remain limited. This study aims to describe the representation of moral deviance and religious transformation in Sisi Tergelap Surga. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method from the perspective of the sociology of literature enriched by Islamic prophetic values. The data consisted of narrative passages and dialogues containing moral deviance and the characters' religious transformation. Data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed using the interactive model of data analysis. The findings reveal nine forms of moral deviance, namely rape, child trafficking, corruption and abuse of power, premarital pregnancy and abortion, child sexual abuse, women smoking and displaying aggressive behavior, theft driven by necessity, sexual orientation deviance, and sexual violence. In addition, the novel represents religious transformation through repentance, self-acceptance, moral responsibility, the pursuit of lawful livelihood, self-sacrifice, and the search for meaning in life. The findings indicate that the novel not only criticizes the moral crisis in society but also presents religiosity as a means of the characters' moral reconstruction. This study enriches the field of the sociology of literature by integrating social perspectives and Islamic prophetic values in understanding the moral dynamics of characters in contemporary Indonesian literature.Indonesian literature.]]>
