The low active participation of students in Physical Education, Sports, and Health learning remains a problem in elementary schools, which is assumed to be related to students' physical literacy. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between physical literacy and active participation of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Suradadi in Physical Education learning. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design through a survey method. The population was all 38 fifth-grade students selected using saturated sampling technique. The instrument was a 30-item Likert scale questionnaire covering five domains of physical literacy (affective, psychomotor, cognitive, behavioral, environmental interaction) and active participation. Data were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment validity test, Cronbach's Alpha reliability test, Levene homogeneity test, and Pearson correlation test. The results showed all items were valid (sig. < 0.05), the instrument was reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.710), and data were homogeneous (sig. > 0.05). There was a significant positive relationship between physical literacy and active participation (r = 0.682; p < 0.05) with a contribution of 46.5%. The affective domain contributed the most (39.8%), followed by environmental interaction (35.5%), psychomotor (29.6%), cognitive (23.8%), and behavioral (17.0%). The conclusion of this study is that physical literacy has a significant positive relationship and contributes to students' active participation in Physical Education learning.
