<![CDATA[This study was motivated by students’ low understanding of the procedures of salat fardhu (obligatory prayer), particularly regarding the prayer recitations and movements, due to learning activities that are still dominated by the lecture method, which provides students with limited opportunities for direct practical experience. This study aimed to determine the effect of the demonstration learning model on students’ understanding of the procedures of salat fardhu at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Palembang. This research employed a quantitative approach, and the data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using statistical analysis to examine the relationship between the demonstration learning model and students’ understanding. The results showed that the demonstration learning model had a significant effect on students’ understanding of the procedures of salat fardhu. This finding was supported by the correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.627, which was higher than the r-table values at the 5% significance level (0.381) and the 1% significance level (0.487). Therefore, the better the implementation of the demonstration learning model, the higher the students’ understanding of the procedures of salat fardhu at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Palembang.]]>
