This study aims to design and evaluate an Arduino Uno-based tourism boat prototype by considering hydrodynamic performance, stability, structural strength, and control system integration. The vessel was developed from the average principal dimensions of six reference boats, resulting in three design alternatives at a 25:100 scale. Maxsurf Modeler was used to generate the hull geometry, while Maxsurf Stability evaluated the stability parameters and Maxsurf Resistance, employing the Holtrop method, analyzed resistance at operating speeds of 10–30 knots. The best-performing design, which exhibited the lowest resistance at the highest speed, was further developed into a three-dimensional model using SolidWorks. Structural analysis of the Aluminium Alloy 6061-T bottom hull was conducted using Maxsurf Structure to assess its load-carrying capability. The selected design satisfied the International Maritime Organization (IMO) stability criteria, demonstrated sufficient structural strength, and achieved favorable hydrodynamic performance. Furthermore, the Arduino Uno-based remote-control system operated effectively, indicating the prototype's potential as a foundation for developing efficient, stable, and safe full-scale tourism vessels.
