The creation of a theatrical work is a creative process that is not only oriented toward performance aesthetics but also serves as a medium for expression, the communication of ideas, and the reflection of cultural values. This creative work is based on the concepts of siri’ and pangngaderreng in Bugis society, which embody moral values, norms, ethics, and patterns of human behavior in social life. The concept of pangngaderreng, which encompasses ade, rapang, wari, bicara, and sara, is developed as a foundation for actor exploration and training techniques. The figure of Colliq Pujie was chosen as a source of inspiration because she represents the application of siri’ and pangngaderreng through struggle, intellectual ability, creativity, and perseverance in facing socio-political pressures. This creative work aims to transform Bugis cultural values into an acting approach that can strengthen actors’ expression, characterization, and awareness of cultural contexts. The creation was realized through the monologue Bilang-Bilang using a contemporary theatre approach and virtual adaptation. The results indicate that pangngaderreng can be translated into exercises of gesture, vocal work, atmosphere, staging, and the actor’s relation to space and properties, allowing cultural values to function not merely as a theme but as a basis for character action.
