This study aims to identify the influence of online shopping habits on consumptive behavior among Generation Z, a demographic group born between 1997–2012. With a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with seven respondents aged 17–25 years. The results show that online shopping habits are influenced by ease of access, attractive promotions such as discounts and cashback, and the influence of social media. Psychological factors such as Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and social urges from peers also reinforce consumptive behaviors, especially impulse purchases. Respondents also revealed challenges in financial management due to online shopping habits that are often unplanned. In conclusion, While online shopping provides efficiency and convenience benefits, consumptive behaviors can be minimized through better financial management awareness.
