<![CDATA[Abuse of official authority is a critical issue in combating corruption because its boundary with administrative error is often blurred. This study analyzes how the Corruption Unit of the South Lampung Police enforces the law against abuse of official authority, identifies the supporting and inhibiting factors, and assesses the practice from the perspective of fiqh siyasah. The study employs an empirical juridical (socio-legal) method with a qualitative approach. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively, with triangulation and member checking to ensure validity. The findings show that enforcement proceeds through well-organized stages, marked by careful initial screening, the use of internal government audit results, and a construction of offenses based on Article 3, although the unit's work remains largely reactive. Supporting factors include the completeness of legal norms, lawful investigative authority, and inter-agency coordination. Inhibiting factors include divergent interpretations of the offense elements, limited facilities, dependence on state loss calculations, structural pressure, insufficiently independent oversight, and disparities in court rulings. From the fiqh siyasah perspective, the practice is broadly consistent with the principle of amanah and the prohibitions of ghulul and risywah, yet it requires stronger inquiry into intent, firmer action against deviant officers, and external accountability. This study contributes district-level empirical data to the study of anti-corruption criminal law and fiqh siyasah.]]>
