<![CDATA[The low conceptual understanding of Natural and Social Sciences among elementary school students remains a critical issue, as learning is often insufficiently connected to students’ real-life experiences and cultural environment. This study aims to examine the use of Magetan’s Sidomukti Batik as a STEAM-based learning medium to improve elementary students’ conceptual understanding of Natural and Social Sciences. This research employed a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were eight fifth-grade students at SDN Poncol 3, Magetan Regency, East Java, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a conceptual understanding test, structured observation sheets, and semi-structured interviews. The results showed that the mean score increased from 70.0 in the pretest to 88.5 in the posttest. Learning mastery improved from 50% to 87.5%, while the average N-Gain score was 0.58, categorized as moderate. The learning process integrated science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through dye absorption, simple tools, pattern design, motif expression, geometry, and symmetry.
