This study was motivated by the low self-confidence and science learning outcomes of students with physical disabilities, associated with teacher-centered instruction and limited use of interactive learning media. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Discovery Based Unity of Science (DBUS) learning model assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) media on self-confidence and learning outcomes of junior high school students with physical disabilities. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design was employed. The study was conducted at SLB Negeri 1 Bantul and SLB Bina Siwi, involving 21 students with physical disabilities. Data were collected through observation, self-confidence questionnaires, and cognitive learning outcome tests (C1–C3) on Earth's rotation and revolution materials. Instruments were proven valid and reliable, with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.880 and 0.810 respectively. Data were analyzed using Effect Size and N-Gain tests. Results showed that learning implementation achieved a very good category (96.4% average). Learning outcomes increased from 53.01 to 81.90, with an N-Gain of 0.61 (moderate category) and an Effect Size of 2.32 (very strong category). Students' self-confidence showed high results across all measured aspects. The DBUS model assisted by AR media was effective in improving self-confidence and learning outcomes of students with physical disabilities in science learning
