Abstract

The important role of accounting information systems professionals, motivate researchers to analyze further the interest of students to the profession in the field of accounting information systems. The aim of this study explores the factors that influence students to choose and do not choose a profession in the field of accounting information systems. This research was conducted using questionnaires. The population was undergraduate accounting students. Sample research was done randomly. This research shows that the interest in undergraduate accounting students for a career in the field of information systems is very small and this research also appears that the academic supervisor is one of the dominant factors influencing student choice in choosing a career in the field of information systems. Abstract

This research explores how to design an interface dashboard to visualize information about evaluation activities occurred during lesson study. Data were collected in two stages using interview and questionnaire techniques whom the respondents were experts and team teaching who had been experienced the whole activities of Lesson Study. We conducted a case study in Mathematics Education Program of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, where the teaching staffs have participated and conducted the Lesson Study activities for more than two semesters. The interface dashboard prototype was tested by conducting User Experience method and Software Usability Testing assessment. Results obtained show a fairly good acceptance level qualitatively and so does from SUS scored 75 from the average value of all participants

Abstract

A successful Implementation of IT has been transformiting the company while creating value added products and services has been a universal business competition. To enable a well targeted implementation of services governance it is well known that a respectable best practice guidance is required. One of a recognized framework is Information Technology Infrastructure Libraryv (ITIL). In this research, to represent current IT service activity condition, a maturity level assessment has been conducted according to process areas. Maturity level assessment result compared with high level management expectation introduced as gap analysis. The given solution to overcome the gap compiled referred to ITIL. Abstract

Selection of plants in accordance with the appearance of the building is very necessary at this time, this is due to lack of attention to the selection of plants in the design of a building. So in addition to reducing the aesthetic appearance of the building can also reduce the indoor comfort caused by the heat from the sun can directly affect the skin of the building. One method of approach in measuring aesthetics in the science of architecture is to use the approach of Scenic Beauty Estimation (SBE) and Semantic Differential (SD). Visual evaluation produced by the method is calculated quantitatively by SBE method so that it can be assessed in accordance with the perception of the respondents. The aesthetic qualities of a visible building can be strongly influenced by the presence of landscape elements in the form of combinations of trees and shrubs appropriate and dynamic. Using a header shaped form terraced and with a blend of shrub topiary with teh-tehan shrubs. This is because the combination of these plants are dynamic, and can strengthen the character of the building.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana keberhasilan implementasi aplikasi SAIBA yang telah berjalan selama ini berdasarkan sudut pandang pengguna dengan menggunakan pendekatan Delone & McLean Information System Success Model. Objek penelitian ini adalah  seluruh operator atau petugas pelaksana aplikasi SAIBA Satuan Kerja Mitra Kerja KPPN Malang. Sebanyak 65 data berhasil dikumpulkan menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) menggunakan program SmartPLS 3.0. Model ini menggunakan enam variabel pengukuran yaitu  kualitas  sistem, kualitas informasi, kepuasan pengguna, penggunaan sistem, dampak individu dan dampak organisasi. Penelitian membuktikan secara empiris bahwa implementasi aplikasi SAIBA belum berjalan sukses berdasarkan kriteria pengukuran sesuai model kesuksesan DeLone dan McLean.Kata Kunci: SAIBA, akrual, DeLone and McLean (DM), success model, sistem informasi, structural equation model (SEM), partial least square (PLS)

Abstract

This research is done in Bangkalan Coast, East Java Province in August - November 2009. This potential development area have been threaten by exploitation that can cause damage to the coastal environment and natural resources. In order to prevent damage and to protect the ecosystems in coastal region, mangrove forest conditions have to be monitored continuously. Remote sensing data such as Landsat ETM+ can generate information about the condition of mangrove forest, such as distribution, extent and canopy density rate. The objective of the research was to determine distribution and extent of  mangrove forest at Bangkalan Coast using remote sensing and geographic information systems. The research was done survey method with descriptive explanations of the primary data and secondary data. The research uses a combination of satellite image processing Landsat ETM+, field survey and thematic maps with manual analysis.The result from interpretation of image analysis showed that Bangkalan Coast has 46.66 hectares mangrove forest, with detailed information about density of the mangrove area is 37,89 hectare for very rare and 8,55 hectare for rarely density. The result for measuring environmental factors showed as follows: salinity ranged from 15‰ – 30 ‰ , the tide of single type (diurnal type) and the substrates is clay, clay loam and dust clay. Keywords: Mangrove, Remote Sensing, GIS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris mengenai adanya kandungan informasi, relevansi nilai informasi akuntansi dan pertumbuhannya selama proses konvergensi IFRS di Indonesia. Secara khusus penelitian ini dilakukan pada perusahaan perbankan, asuransi dan pembiayaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Kandungan informasi diindikasikan oleh Trading Volume Activity dan Variability of Abnormal Return. Adapun relevansi nilai informasi akuntansi diproksikan oleh koefisien regresi dari fungsi pengaruh informasi akuntansi terhadap harga saham. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan adanya kandungan informasi serta relevansi nilai informasi akuntansi selama periode konvergensi IFRS. Temuan empiris ini menjadi salah satu indikasi adanya manfaat konvergensi IFRS bagi relevansi nilai informasi akuntansi. Berkaitan dengan konvergensi itu sendiri, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa relevansi nilai informasi akuntansi mengalami peningkatan secara bertahap selama periode konvergensi. Relevansi nilai informasi akuntansi ditemukan pada perusahaan dengan rasio saham diperdagangkan yang tinggi serta perusahaan dengan saham yang tidak likuid. Relevansi nilai yang lebih tinggi juga ditemukan pada perusahaan yang terafiliasi dengan perusahaan dari negara yang mengadopsi IFRS.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of several factors (user involvement in the development process of accounting information system, training and education, and top management support) on the quality of accounting information system at the Manokwari Regional Public Hospital. We distribute our questionnaire and conduct the interviews to 35 accounting information system users at this hospital to generate our research data. Our findings indicate that only top management support significantly affects the quality of accounting information system. Practically, this study contributes to address the issue of the quality of accounting information system at the Manokwari Regional Public Hospital.AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh beberapa faktor (keterlibatan pengguna dalam proses pengembangan sistem informasi akuntansi, pelatihan dan pendidikan, dan dukungan manajemen puncak) terhadap kualitas sistem informasi akuntansi di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Manokwari. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dan melakukan wawancara kepada 35 pengguna sistem informasi akuntansi RSUD Manokwari. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga faktor yang diteliti hanya faktor dukungan manajemen puncak yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas sistem informasi akuntansi. Sedangkan untuk keterlibatan pengguna dan pelatihan dan pendidikan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap sistem informasi akuntansi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah terkait kualitas kualitas sistem informasi akuntansi pada RSUD Manokwari.
