Abstract

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the current era of globalization has provided many benefits in progress in various social aspects. Every action we take today is closely related to the use of technology, especially in the field of computerization and the internet. Data Management of the Sumba Christian Church (SCC) / Gereja Kristen Sumba (GKS) Kanjonga Bakul Congregation is one of the activities that must be carried out by the church every year, this activity is carried out by BPMJ officers or administrators and monitored by pastors. However, in GKS Kanjonga basket, the system for GKS Jamaat Data Management is still carried out by each congregation assembly to collect data conventionally by collecting photocopies of Family Cards and collecting data directly at each congregation house to recap back to the physical ledger. This process experienced various obstacles, including the difficulty in recapitulating the entire data managed, as well as the lack of efficiency in managing the data of the GKS Congregation. This conventional process leads to a waste of time and effort that should not be happening today, as well as a high risk of errors and inaccuracies in the recorded data. From the problem of data management of the GKS congregation in Kanjonga Bakul, this research will develop an Information System for the Management of Data of the Sumba Christian Church using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The web development in this study will use the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language with the CodeIgniter framework that implements the Model-View-Control (MVC) concept. This technology can optimize and improve the quality of data management of GKS congregations in Kanjonga Bakul.

Abstract

The agricultural sector remains a significant source of income for the people of East Sumba, particularly in Temu Village, Kanatang District, which spans 46.50 km². In Temu Village, a large portion of the population engages in farming and gardening, utilizing agricultural land that includes rice fields, fields, and plantations. Analyzing the current use of this land is crucial for predicting agricultural yields and proposing optimal land use strategies to ensure sufficient local food production. However, the distribution of agricultural land has not been thoroughly mapped, leaving gaps in information regarding the location and potential of these lands. This research aims to map the agricultural potential of Temu Village using Geographic Information System (GIS) technology through overlay and scoring methods, resulting in informative land use maps. The findings reveal that fields dominate the agricultural landscape with 1.648903 km² or 81.10% of the total agricultural land, highlighting the primary focus on field crops. Rice fields cover 0.270512 km² or 13.30%, while gardens occupy the smallest area of 0.113825 km² or 5.60%. These results demonstrate the potential for effective geographical management of plantations, rice fields, and agricultural fields based on their respective areas.

Abstract

Technological advances have entered the 5.0 revolution, where technology in various fields, especially construction, is thriving. The technology is particularly useful in modeling, planning, cost and volume estimation, continuity, and building management. Almost all areas of work have now adopted automation with the use of software, including AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction). One of the technologies in the AEC field is Building Information Modelling (BIM), the BIM 5D Concept has proven to be efficient in handling cost control, as research shows that there is a minimal difference in computation in cost estimation. This study implemented BIM 5D on the Type 300 2-story boarding house construction project in Sepinggan Lestari Housing, Balikpapan. Based on the project's previous cost calculations, MS Excel and 2D images were then compared to Revit software. With a contract value of Rp. 3,275,204,419, the cost of concrete and ironing each is IDR. 156,929,007 and Rp. 550.910.751. Analysis shows that the use of BIM 5D results in more efficient volume and cost calculations than conventional methods. The volume calculation difference for ironing was 6.92%, and for concrete was 15.06%. The difference in ironing costs was 11.54%, and concrete was 15.06%, indicating that the consultant's calculated volume was greater than that of Revit. This study concluded that the implementation of BIM 5D could improve the accuracy of cost and efficiency calculations in construction projects.

Abstract

In export and import activities, a partner is needed for the shipping process. There are three types of shipping routes available for export and import: land, sea, and air. A company that offers shipping services via sea routes is known as an EMKL. This study designs a Geographic Information System (GIS) to facilitate the search for locations of Marine Cargo Expedition Services (EMKL) in East Jakarta using the Haversine Formula. The main problem faced is the difficulty in finding nearby and relevant expedition service providers in a large and densely populated area like East Jakarta. The proposed solution involves developing a system that integrates location data with the Haversine Formula to accurately calculate the distance between the user's location and the service providers. By using this method, the system can provide precise location information and help users select the nearest expedition service. The goal of this research is to enhance efficiency and accuracy in locating expedition services. The expected outcome is the creation of a user-friendly and effective system that simplifies the process of selecting expedition services by considering distance and service availability in real-time.
