Abstract

Public Information System Development is the process of designing, implementing and maintaining a technology-based system which aims to provide transparent, accurate and relevant access to information to the public. This development process involves analyzing user needs, designing a user-friendly interface, and integrating technology capable of handling large volumes of data efficiently. Apart from that, security and privacy aspects are a major concern in ensuring that public data is not misused. Challenges in developing this system include differences in people's technological literacy levels, uneven technological infrastructure, and the need to comply with applicable regulations. With a collaborative development strategy, involving the government, developers and the community, this system is expected to increase transparency, participation and the quality of public services. Development of Public Information Systems also plays an important role in supporting inclusive and sustainable digital transformation in various sectors of life.

Abstract

The Indonesian economy has weakened in every sector since pandemic Covid-19. The study investigates how the stock return in the impacted and unimpacted industry reacts to death and cases information about Covid-19. Based on previous studies, behavioral changes also occur in society. Changes in consumption of mass products and also the behavior of fast-food products move in opposite directions. In addition, changes also occur in employee performance due to limitations related to activities. In addition, this study also considers the response from the Indonesian government regarding changes in people's behavior and the increase in cases related to Covid-19. The Indonesian government, in this case, implemented several policies as a response to the incident where the Indonesian government finally imposed restrictions on social activities followed by a transition period to maintain the economic cycle in Indonesia. This study shows that in both the impacted and unimpacted industries and the lockdown period and the new-normal period in the Indonesian version, information related to the Covid-19 case significantly negatively affected stock returns, while information on deaths due to Covid-19 has a negative effect that is not significant. This result suggests the practitioner considers which other information affects investment decision during the Pandemic in the future.

Abstract

Companies have been forced to adopt computer-based information systems due to the quick development of information technology. These systems expedite and simplify the management's access to data. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the efficiency of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) at Village Credit Institutions (LPDs) in Denpasar City is impacted by factors such as job experience, educational attainment, training, incentives, and task complexity. The population of the study includes 34 LPDs, with a sample of 136 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis was involved in the data analysis. The findings indicate that while task complexity has a negative influence on AIS' efficacy, job experience and training have a beneficial impact. However, education level and incentives do not significantly influence the system's effectiveness. These findings suggest that LPD managers should prioritize enhancing work experience and training to improve the effectiveness of their AIS.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and demonstrate the influence of user involvement and personal technical skills on the performance of the Accounting Information System (AIS), with Work From Home (WFH) as a moderator variable. The study was conducted at the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) South Sulawesi Representative Office. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling, and data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The research findings revealed that user involvement and personal technical skills have a positive and significant impact on AIS performance. However, WFH does not have a significant effect or the ability to strengthen user involvement and personal technical skills in relation to AIS performance. The implications of this research underscore the necessity of user involvement during the development phase of accounting information systems. The study emphasizes the need for training to enhance the understanding and technical skills of accounting information system users.
