Abstract

In the broader logistics industry, there are several trends and challenges that might impact the performance of PT. MyGlobal Logistik Internasional. In an increasingly complex era of globalization, logistics companies face significant challenges in maintaining competitive performance. This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of strategic collaboration and Information sharing on logistics performance, mediated by Logistics capability at PT. MyGlobal Logistik Internasional. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. The population includes all service users at PT. MyGlobal Logistik Internasional, consisting of leaders, supervisors, and operational staff. The sampling technique employed is purposive sampling with a total of 90 respondents. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire that had been tested for reliability and validity. This study uses path analysis SEM with the Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) software version 3.2.9. The research results show that strategic collaboration has a positive and significant impact on Logistics capability. Information sharing has a positive and significant impact on Logistics capability. Strategic collaboration has a positive and significant impact on logistics performance. Information sharing has a positive and significant impact on logistics performance. Logistics capability at PT. MyGlobal Logistik Internasional has a positive and significant impact on logistics performance.

Abstract

The development of information technology, particularly the internet, has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including business and commerce. One of the most noticeable effects is the increasing popularity of online transactions or e-commerce. E-commerce systems provide convenience for consumers to carry out transactions online without the limitations of place and time. In the entertainment industry, especially music concerts, online ticket sales through e-commerce systems offer practical solutions to address the issues arising from conventional methods. This research aims to design and develop a website-based e-commerce information system for concert ticket booking. The system is designed to provide users with convenience in booking concert tickets online, accessing the latest information about concert schedules and locations, and selecting flexible payment methods. The research methodology used is the waterfall approach, which consists of the stages of data collection, requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and system maintenance. The results of this research show that the website-based e-commerce concert ticket system can improve transaction efficiency, expand market reach, and provide users with easier access. Additionally, the system is expected to enhance user satisfaction by providing fast, practical, and flexible services. It is hoped that the system will continue to evolve through feedback and suggestions from users to further improve functionality and user convenience in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to describe methods of providing learning motivation to students as a technique to develop their learning abilities and willingness. Learning motivation is crucial elements in the educational process, as it encourages students to actively participate, strive to achieve learning goals, and overcome academic challenges. One logical approach to motivating students is by connecting their learning experiences with their intrinsic motivation, allowing them to feel engaged and purposeful in their educational journey. Information services play a critical role in helping students understand and utilize knowledge to support decision -making processes. Mastery of information is broad benefits, including assisting students in problem- solving, preventing new problems from arising, developing their potential, and maintenance existing capabilities. Through information services, students can gain insights into their surroundings, education, career paths, and socio-cultural aspects, ultimately fostering their abilities to actualize their full potential. This study highlights the importance of providing information services as an effective method to cultivate students ' learning motivation. With appropriate services, students can acquire relevant knowledge to face academic and daily challenges while increasing their awareness of the significance of education.

Abstract

In the Circular Letter of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number: HK.02.02/III/15086/2021, it is stated that every Central Work Unit/Technical Implementation Unit within the Ministry of Health must use the Electronic Official Manuscript Management Application (TNDE) for managing incoming and outgoing official manuscripts, including providing dispositions and checking outgoing official manuscripts. The application in question is Srikandi which is expected to provide better correspondence results so that information can be conveyed optimally. This study was located in the Administration Section of the Surakarta Central General Hospital. This study is descriptive and uses qualitative techniques to explain the adoption of the Srikandi application in facilitating the management information system and administrative communication in the administration section of the Surakarta Central General Hospital. Data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. This study uses a triangulation approach for data validation. From the results of the study, it was found that the implementation of the Srikandi application in supporting the management information system and administrative correspondence of the administration section was quite good, although there were still user units who did not understand this application. Users are expected to open this application as often as possible so that information is not obstructed and correspondence services are better.

Abstract

Evaluasi Penggunaan Teknologi Building Information Modeling (BIM) dalam Proses Perencanaan dan Konstruksi Bangunan Gedung bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan BIM dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan kolaborasi dalam proyek konstruksi bangunan gedung. Teknologi BIM memungkinkan pembuatan representasi digital dari karakteristik fisik dan fungsional bangunan yang dapat digunakan sepanjang siklus hidup proyek, dari perencanaan hingga pemeliharaan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai manfaat yang diperoleh dari penerapan BIM, seperti pengurangan kesalahan desain, penghematan biaya, pengelolaan waktu yang lebih baik, dan peningkatan koordinasi antar tim yang terlibat. Selain itu, studi ini juga mengevaluasi tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi BIM, termasuk kebutuhan akan sumber daya manusia yang terlatih, investasi awal yang besar, serta adopsi teknologi yang bervariasi di setiap organisasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat hambatan awal dalam penerapannya, BIM dapat memberikan dampak signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi proyek konstruksi, terutama dalam proyek bangunan gedung yang kompleks. Kesimpulannya, adopsi BIM secara lebih luas dapat menjadi strategi penting untuk mengoptimalkan proses perencanaan dan konstruksi, dengan potensi manfaat jangka panjang yang besar bagi industri konstruksi.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Jember (National State of Jember Polytechnic), Indonesia, fully understand that infrastructure is one among various key factors to enhance the quality of the university. However, in the department of Information Technology, infrastructure management is a prominent issue. The primary cause of the issue appears to be a manual arrangement of room reservations, as room usage often crashes due to the scheduling mismatch. To tackle this issue, this study focuses on the development of a room reservation information system, known as “Sistem Informasi Peminjaman Ruangan dan Sarana Pembelajaran (SIPRu)”. The system is developed as an additional feature in the department website. It is developed using the Waterfall method, beginning with the requirements analysis (i.e., an identification of functional and non-functional requirements) and architectural processes design processes (i.e., the development of use case diagram, flowchart, data flow diagram, and database design). In this study, Laravel is used for the implementation, and black box testing is used to verify compliance with the functional requirements. During the testing process, 42 department stakeholders participated to validate the requirements and conduct user experience testing. The results indicated that the stakeholders have found the website to be sufficiently responsive to their needs. Furthermore, it is revealed that SIPRu is effective at assisting users in reserving rooms at the department of Information Technology, National State of Jember Polytechnic.

Abstract

Problems related to population administration and civil registration, such as identity falsification and duplicate data due to lack of accurate details of population data documents, the process of obtaining a Population Identity Card and issuing a civil registration certificate still takes a long time because the data input process is still done manually. In this regard, the Garut Regency government, in this case the Tarogong Kaler District, is trying to collect valid population data so that it can develop mapping to overcome this problem. Currently there is an information system that makes it easier to provide services for creating and issuing resident document certificates, namely by implementing a website-based integrated administration service system or PATENT. This research aims to analyze Effectiveness of the Integrated Administrative Information System (PATEN) in Public Service. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research with four informants.   Data collection techniques start from direct observation, interviews, and documentation.  The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that the community can enjoy the quality of services provided in Tarogong Kaler District. This can be seen from several things. The reliability dimension can be seen from the district operators who are reliable in providing services to the community. The responsiveness dimension related to the ability to respond is said to be good if the PATENT system has immediate disruption. can be overcome by not reducing services to the community. The obstacles are that the availability of human resources is still insufficient, as well as the need for socialization to the community about understanding the system.

Abstract

In the digital era, algorithms have assumed a mediation role historically associated with journalism, limiting and prioritizing information in a personalized manner for each user. This curation contributes to the formation of information bubbles that reinforce selection effects and potentially feed preexisting beliefs. Although it is not a consensual view, several authors believe this phenomenon increases polarization, posing significant challenges to democratic discourse and societal cohesion. This paper reflects on information bubbles in the context of Bruno Latour’s and Edgar Morin’s perspectives on the nature-culture dichotomy. Together, these perspectives help us understand the algorithmic personalization of information as a hybrid (arising from the interaction between humans and non-humans) and complex phenomenon (multidimensional, engaging various parts of knowledge), where the central role of non-human actors and the continuous interaction between the whole and the parts are evident. It is concluded that addressing the information bubbles conundrum will require: (1) abandoning simplification and reductionism, while accepting contradiction and controversies, (2) mapping and analyzing the interactions between actors, (3) conducting inter- and transdisciplinary research, and (4) developing hybrid solutions.
