Abstract

This research explored how employees in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies in Makati City adopted Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices to support environmental sustainability and strengthen employee engagement. Despite Makati’s unique dynamics, few studies have examined the link between GHRM initiatives and engagement in the Information Technology-Enabled Services (ITES) sector. This study addressed that gap, offering insights for organizations aiming to enhance sustainability programs while keeping their workforce engaged. As more BPO firms prioritize green initiatives, understanding how GHRM influences employee behavior and motivation becomes essential. The research focused on green recruitment, environmental training, and sustainability-based performance evaluations, finding a positive relationship between GHRM strategies and employee engagement. When companies adopt environmentally responsible policies, employees respond with increased loyalty and participation. The study also highlighted the role of renewable energy sources—solar panels, wind turbines, and geothermal systems—as alternatives to traditional electricity. Promoting these technologies helps reduce carbon emissions and reliance on the power grid. Overall, the findings deepen the understanding of how green HR practices can drive both organizational and environmental benefits. BPO firms, especially in the ITES sector, are encouraged to implement GHRM strategies not only for ecological reasons but also to foster a more engaged and purpose-driven workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to assess and analyze the effect of information technology on competence, the effect of training on competence, the effect of competence on employee performance, the effect of information technology on employee performance, the effect of training on employee performance through competence, and the effect of training on employee performance through competence. The research in question is quantitative. There were 47 participants in this study who were employees of the Tora Belo Regional General Hospital in Sigi Regency. The SEM-PLS approach was used to conduct hypothesis testing, and the descriptive analysis method was used to analyze the data. Competence has a substantial and favorable influence on employee performance, as shown by the analysis results. In addition, employee performance is significantly and favorably affected by information technology. However, training has a minimal and adverse effect on employee performance. In addition, employee competencies facilitate the favorable and substantial impact of information technology on employee performance. Employee performance is significantly and directly influenced by training, which is also influenced by the level of competence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of information overload on decision postponement, mediated by consumer confusion. The research adopts a quantitative approach, targeting the Generation Z population in Jepara. Data collection was conducted using completed questionnaires distributed to respondents selected through random sampling techniques and the Slovin formula. A total of 310 samples were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method with Smart PLS version 4.0. The research findings indicate that excess information does not directly influence decision postponement. However, information overload positively and significantly affects consumer confusion, and consumer confusion, in turn, positively and significantly influences decision postponement. With the presence of consumer confusion as a mediating variable, the relationship between information overload and decision postponement demonstrates a positive and significant correlation. The variable of consumer confusion in this study successfully mediates the connection between information overload and decision postponement, thereby producing positive and significant effects.

Abstract

Study this is to examine the role of brand attachment as a mediator in the relationship between usability and information quality, and its influence on brand loyalty within the context of Traveloka as an e-commerce platform. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing data collected through online questionnaires administered to 150 respondents. Hypothesis testing is conducted using SmartPLS version 4.0 as a data analysis tool. The findings indicate that both usability and information quality of the platform exert a positive influence on brand attachment, which subsequently enhances brand loyalty.

Abstract

Tidal floods are a regular threat in the coastal area of North Medan, which includes Medan Belawan, Medan Labuhan, and Medan Marelan. This research aims to map the level of vulnerability to tidal flooding using the Ordinal Logistic Regression (RLO) approach combined with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Nine factors were analyzed: rainfall, drainage density, land use, distance from rivers, distance from the sea, soil type, elevation, slope, and topographic aspects. The analysis showed that rainfall, elevation, and distance from the sea were the most significant factors. The vulnerability map shows that 7.6% of areas are classified as highly vulnerable, 64.74% high, 27.36% medium, and only 0.3% low. The accuracy of the model reached 87.84%. These results provide a solid foundation for spatial planning, disaster mitigation, and coastal adaptation strategies.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to (1) analyze the impact of green intellectual capital and real earnings management on future stock returns. (2) The role of information asymmetry as a moderating variable for the impact of green intellectual capital and real profit management on future stock returns. This research method uses secondary data from companies in the non-cyclical consumer sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI). The research sample was selected in the period 2021-2022 based on purposive sampling criteria–, resulting in 158 observations. The data analysis was performed using the moderated regression analysis (MRA) approach to test the relationship between the variables in this study. The results of this investigation show that: (1) Green intellectual capital and real earnings management have a positive impact on future stock returns. (2) Information asymmetry does not weaken the relationship between green intellectual capital and future stock returns, so that it is classified as a moderating predictor. On the other hand, information asymmetry is shown to attenuate the impact of real earnings management on future stock returns, indicating that this variable acts as a full moderator. (3) The control variable leverage has no effect on future stock returns, while firm size has a negative effect on future stock returns.

Abstract

Alpar Wholesale Store is a store that sells various kinds of products for household needs. In the data processing process using handwriting, so there are still many obstacles in data processing, such as the difficulty of: To record sales data, planning previously planned activities because the data search process is considered slow, data does not appear automatically so it must be written repeatedly, and data cannot be integrated with each other because there is no database. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current system, to overcome the problems faced at the Alpar Wholesale Store, by designing a Web-Based Sales Information System Design at the Alpar Wholesale Store in Jambi City. The Research Framework that will be carried out in solving the problems discussed is, identifying, searching for information based on theoretical foundations, collecting data using observation and interview methods, analyzing to find solutions to the problems faced by the Alpar Wholesale Store. The system development method uses a waterfall model, the implementation of this study uses the PHP Programming Language and DBMS MySQL, to produce data processing applications that are expected to facilitate data processing and report creation.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the influence of capital structure, accounting information systems, financial management, and spirituality on the sustainability of MSMEs in Central Lombok Regency. A quantitative method with an explanatory approach is employed in this research. A sample of 30 MSMEs was selected purposively, namely business actors who have used accounting information systems and have financial reports. Data analysis was performed using the SEM-PLS technique and SmartPLS 4 software. The findings demonstrate thatcapital structure significantly improves SMEs' sustainability. In contrast, accounting information systems, financial management, and spirituality did not show a significant effect. These results indicate the importance of optimally managing capital structure to support business sustainability. This research indicates the need to strengthen financial literacy and digitalization of accounting information in MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how religious hoax content is interpreted and how information literacy competencies are articulated through the Instagram account @jabarsaberhoaks. Using a qualitative content analysis approach, this research analyzes seven hoax posts related to religious issues and classifies them according to First Draft’s typology of misinformation and disinformation. The findings reveal that @jabarsaberhoaks adopts a consistent educational approach that clarifies misleading religious information and embeds information literacy elements, such as fact verification, source evaluation, and hoax categorization, within each clarification post. These posts address various hoax types, including fabricated content, imposter content, manipulated content, misleading content, false context, false connection, and satire/parody. The study concludes that @jabarsaberhoaks plays a strategic role in cultivating public critical awareness and promoting digital literacy, especially in the context of religious hoaxes in West Java.
