khususnya bagi anak-anak yang kehilangan kesempatan belajar tatap muka. Kondisi ini menurunkan motivasi belajar dan keterampilan pemanfaatan media digital edukatif, terutama di wilayah dengan keterbatasan akses dan pendampingan belajar di rumah. Menyikapi hal tersebut, dilakukan program pemberdayaan berbasis pendidikan di Kelurahan Kaliwates selama tujuh minggu yang bertujuan untuk membangkitkan kembali semangat belajar anak-anak pada masa transisi pascapandemi. Program ini dilaksanakan melalui tiga bentuk kegiatan pembelajaran utama, yaitu pengenalan aplikasi Duolingo sebagai media belajar Bahasa Inggris interaktif, permainan edukatif Ular Tangga Asyik yang mengintegrasikan materi keagamaan, serta sosialisasi pemanfaatan YouTube sebagai media pembelajaran pendukung. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan secara langsung dengan pendekatan edukatif dan kreatif yang melibatkan anak-anak dan orang tua. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar, kemandirian anak dalam menggunakan aplikasi digital, serta daya ingat terhadap materi keagamaan. Evaluasi melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan orang tua menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan pendekatan yang berbeda sesuai jenjang usia, serta perlunya penguatan disiplin dan pengendalian emosi pada anak usia dini. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi, permainan, dan keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemulihan semangat belajar anak-anak pascapandemi, sekaligus meningkatkan literasi digital mereka secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

The world is shaken as the Covid-19 pandemic. All aspects of human life feel the consequences, including the education. School activity is replaced by online learning at home and teachers is now sharing the burden of teaching with parents. Facing this situation, parents should be able to play a role as children's learning companions at home. In fact, not all parents are ready for this new task. This research aims to find out more about the parental engagement in children's online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Research conducted in Riau province with 148 samples of parents from the first and second grade of elementary school students, who filled the online questionnaire. The design used in this study is a converging design, simultaneously collecting quantitative and qualitative data, combining the data, comparing the results, and explaining all descriptions in the results. The result shows that parental engagement in supervising the children study time is 81,7%, parent role in accompanying children in learning is 80,4%, supervising children study time is 71,8%, recognizing children learning difficulties 69% and providing learning facilities 64.8%. It can be concluded that most of the parents are engaged in children online learning activities, although there are still those who have obstacles and difficulties in dividing time, attention and explaining the lesson to childrens.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describes how the literacy skills of children in TK Negeri 1 Pembina Medan in class B at the age of 5-6 years through online learning during the current pandemic. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research, with the research subjects namely. The school principal, teachers, school committee, and several children at TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan. The data collection techniques used were; observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis used is in the form of descriptive analysis, which includes three lines, namely; data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The conclusion obtained is that from the observation sheet of literacy skills in listening, it can be seen that the average listening skill of children is in the developing category as expected (BSH). Speaking ability is in the developing category according to expectations (BSH), while writing ability is in the developing category as expected (BSH), and reading ability is in the developing category (MB).

Abstract

Purpose: This study focuses on how online learning can aid in the development of the Augmented Reality (AR) technology, "Mar-Care”, which possesses features that will attract elementary students to learn Makaton. Makaton is a Sign Language whose inception dates back to around 1972/73 and it was meant to be used by people with learning disabilities to help develop language and communication skills. This study online learning involves AR technology and the use of Padlet as e-learning platforms a forum for students to discuss and express their opinions. Design: The methods used throughout the production of Mar-Care application technology education learning online tools are the Padlet platform. Findings: Visual representation of the basic hand gestures through 3D animation is shown on the Padlet to explain online learning Research limitations: This study has developed an online medium for online learning. Practical implications: A large number of software used to produce online learning tools successfully make the discussion space between students and teachers. Paper type: Research Paper

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic still has an impact on various fields of people's lives, especially in the field of education. Several educational institutions, such as Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten schools, are still implementing online learning in carrying out teaching and learning activities as an effort to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The online learning system is new and is still in the habituation stage for some people, while early childhood requires sufficient stimulation through direct or face-to-face learning to maximize the stimulation process. However, educators and parents are faced with a period: even though the learning system is implemented online, the target for learning outcomes must also be achieved, one of which is the achievement of the psychomotor development target of early childhood. This study aims to determine the percentage of the effectiveness of online learning on the psychomotor development of early childhood. The research location is in RA Roudhotul Ulum which is located in Baluk Village, Karangrejo District, Magetan Regency. The research was carried out on March 5, 2020 – April 30, 2020. The research approach used was descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques utilizing online questionnaires from Google Forms which were distributed to educators and parents, with a total of 45 respondents. The results of this study are that online learning is considered less effective in achieving psychomotor development in early childhood which is influenced by various factors. Almost all respondents want to immediately implement offline or face-to-face learning, so that the achievement of children's development targets can be realized to the fullest.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of online learning products of children's education subject with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder for undergraduate students majoring in special education, faculty of Education at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. This study uses the ADDEM design model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Deliver, Evaluate, and Maintenance). The data collected in this study used a validation test technique of learning media experts and Special Education experts before the product was tested on students. The effectiveness test data were obtained from the results of studying midterm exams and final semester exams for undergraduate students in class A and B totaling 93 people majoring in special education. The product validity test results from the learning media validator have obtained a good rating score of 3.3 while an assessment from the Special Education validator has obtained a good score of 3.2. In the effectiveness testing period, it showed 78 midterm results of students with excellent grades, and 15 students with good grades. Likewise, the results of the final semester exams showed 45 students with excellent grades, and 48 students are good grades. Thus, it can be concluded that online learning of children's education subject with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in undergraduate students majoring in special education that is developed has the potential to improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Permasalahan dunia pendidikan adalah proses pembelajaran yang belum seragam, baik standar maupun kualitas hasil belajar yang diinginkan. Hal ini tentu dirasakan berat oleh pendidik dan peserta didik. Khusus bagi pendidik dituntut untuk kreatif dalam menyampaikan materi melalui media pembelajaran online. Hal ini perlu disesuaikan pula dengan tingkat pendidikan dalam kebutuhannya. Hasil survei di 98 negara mengidentifikasi prioritas sebagai berikut: memastikan pembelajaran bagi anak-anak, memberikan dukungan kepada anak-anak yang tidak mendapatkan fasilitas, memberikan dukungan kepada guru dalam bentuk kedokteran dan kesehatan mental, merevisi prosedur kelulusan, memastikan integritas penilaian, menentukan kurikulum yang sesuai, dan memberikan bantuan sosial. dan makanan untuk anak-anak. Penelitian ini menjadi solusi yang sangat penting dilakukan dalam memahami bagaimana memahami kebutuhan orang tua dalam mendampingi anaknya belajar di rumah menggantikan peran guru di masa pandemi Covid-19 dengan metode pembelajaran online dan variasi pembelajaran lainnya, salah satunya solusinya adalah melalui kunjungan rumah.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the parenting styles applied by parents to motivate their children in online learn in Desa Kalipucang Wetan Jepara. This research explained factors that motivated children in family parenting in Desa Kalipucang Wetan Jepara and the form of children’s motivation in family parenting in Desa Kalipucang Wetan Jepara. This research discussed the parents’ parenting styles and its implications for children’s motivation in online learning in. Parenting styles referred to the parental control to provide care for children; in this case, parents educated and guided the child’s personality as well as built knowledge so that the child could grow up according to his developmental age. There were four types of parenting, including permissive, democratic, authoritative, and neglective parenting. Family learning environment was a learning environment that greatly affected the children’s pattern of life. Meanwhile, learning motivation was an encouragement from inside and outside to keep learning so that someone, especially elementary school students, could achieve maximum learning outcomes as a result of high enthusiasm or motivation to learn. Positive parenting would provide a high motivation for children to learn.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the education sector; as a result, the government has made policies to conduct a distance learning or known as online learning. In online learning, parents have double roles, as a parent and as a teacher, to assist  children in online learning during Covid-19 pandemic. Lack of understanding of the importance of assistig children during online learning causes parents to pay less attention to their role in assisting children during online learning. The aim of this reasearch was to know parents’  roles to assist children in online learning during Covid-19 pandemic. This research utilized qualitative methods with the type of case study. This research was conducted in Desa Temulus, Kecamatan Mejobo, Kabupaten Kudus, involving 5 parents and 5 children. The children attended learning at SD 1 Temulus, and both  children and their parents lived in the researchers’  environment. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation.  This research applied a descriptive qualitative data analysis with triangulation methods to validate the data. The steps of data analysis were data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusion. The results of this research revealed that parents played several roles in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic; they were a)  as caregivers and educators; b) as mentors; c) as motivators; and d) as facilitators. Therefore, parents should provide time and attention in assisting their children to leaen during online learning.

Abstract

Children with language disorder must receive special attention during online learning during a pandemic. This study aims to explore the perceptions of inclusive elementary school teachers on the implementation of online learning for children with language disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection was carried out through surveys and semi-structured interviews with 38 inclusive primary school teachers spread across the South Jakarta area. Data analysis using thematic analysis of qualitative data. The results of the analysis found three main themes, namely, the selection of teaching media, learning methods, and learning assessments. The results of this study indicate that the success of online learning for children with language disorders depends on the involvement of teachers and parents in guiding students. Parents must be actively involved in supporting and guiding children during the learning process at home, while teachers must be creative and innovative in creating fun learning for children, especially children with language disorders. This research can also be a reference for future researchers to develop a learning model that is appropriate for implementation during the pandemic period.Keywords: language disorder, online learning, COVID-19
