Abstract

In the era of increasingly developing digital transformation, information systems (IS) no longer function only as administrative tools, but have become strategic components in supporting the sustainability and competitive advantage of organizations. This study aims to evaluate strategic planning of information systems using the Ward and Peppard methodology approach that emphasizes the alignment between business strategy and IS strategy. A descriptive qualitative approach with case studies is used in this study, with data collection through documentation studies and literature reviews. The analysis was carried out using various techniques, including SWOT, Value Chain, Critical Success Factors (CSF), Balanced Scorecard, McFarlan's Strategic Grid, and PEST. The results of the study indicate that the success of IS implementation is greatly influenced by a deep understanding of the organization's strategic needs and the use of appropriate methodologies to identify relevant IS applications. Ward and Peppard's methodology is able to provide a systematic framework for integrating information technology into business processes as a whole. Thus, IS strategic planning not only improves operational efficiency but also plays an important role in supporting the right decision making and the development of the organization's adaptive capabilities in facing the dynamics of the external environment. These findings provide an important basis for organizations in determining IT strategies that are aligned with long-term goals

Abstract

KUD Plongkowati Timur is located at Jalan Godong-Karangrayung, Grobogan Regency, which apart from operating in the savings and loan business unit, is also a distributor of fertilizer products produced by PT. Petrokima Gresik and PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. In running the fertilizer distributor business unit at KUD Plongkowati Timur, the process of recording purchase and sales transactions is not carried out using an integrated system in the database, all data is still recorded conventionally by the administration section, while the administration section's computer functions to create reports which are copied from notes provided by cashier so that data security is not guaranteed because the database is not yet integrated. Based on the problems that exist in the East Plongkowati KUD, the author would like to propose a design of a Fertilizer Inventory application system to be taken into consideration in helping speed up the process of recording purchase and sales transactions and can provide the information needed by the East Plongkowati KUD, Grobogan Regency in the form of purchase reports, sales reports, reports. suppliers, customer reports. So the design of the fertilizer inventory information system uses the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language with a database from Microsoft Access 2007 and the design of reports from Crystal Report 7. It is hoped that making this application can be one of the efforts that can be made to overcome problems that often occur so that it can increase work effectiveness which of course will have an impact on improving the quality of service to customers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how product quality, information quality, and consumer trust influence boiler machine purchasing decisions. This study is a quantitative study using statistical data. The research population is consumers who have purchased boiler machines at CV. Jaya Makmur Sentosa. The study used a saturated sampling technique so that 60 respondents were obtained as a research sample. The data collection technique is primary data through a Likert scale questionnaire 1-5 distributed to respondents. While secondary data is in the form of previous literature studies. The data analysis technique in the study uses Smart-Pls in the form of the Partial Least Squares (PLS) Method. The results of the study show that Information Quality has a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions. These results indicate that the strategy of developing the quality of information contained in the product, in this case the boiler machine as the object of research, makes a real contribution to increasing purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the results of the study show that Product Quality and Consumer Trust have no positive and insignificant effect on Purchasing Decisions. This means that some consumers consider other factors, such as price, product quantity, customer satisfaction, and so on, when making a transaction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of social media in agronomic information dissemination and farmer empowerment. Using a systematic literature review method, this study analyzes current research on the use of social media in the agricultural context. The results show that social media has significantly improved farmers' access to agronomic information, accelerated the adoption of agricultural innovations, and facilitated the formation of virtual farmer communities. Platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and YouTube have become the main channels for sharing agricultural knowledge and accessing markets. However, challenges such as the digital divide and information reliability still need to be addressed. The study concludes that social media has great potential for transforming the agricultural sector, but requires an integrated approach involving improving digital infrastructure, developing farmers' digital literacy, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to optimize its benefits.

Abstract

The digital transformation of educational supervision presents both opportunities and challenges in modern education governance. This study examines how information technology reshapes traditional supervision mechanisms through a comprehensive literature analysis. The research identifies three significant findings. First, supervision systems are undergoing a fundamental transformation from conventional methods to technology-driven approaches. This shift enables real-time monitoring, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced feedback mechanisms. Digital platforms facilitate more efficient communication between supervisors and educators while streamlining administrative processes. Second, the evolution of supervisory roles demands new digital competencies from education supervisors. These include proficiency in digital tools, data analysis capabilities, and understanding of online pedagogical practices. The complexity of these requirements necessitates systematic professional development and training programs. Third, successful implementation requires a robust digital governance architecture. This framework must integrate various technological components while ensuring data security, accessibility, and interoperability. The system should support adaptive supervision practices that respond to evolving educational needs and technological advances. The study concludes with practical recommendations for education stakeholders. Investment in continuous professional development programs is essential to build and maintain digital competencies among supervisors. Technical infrastructure must be redesigned to support comprehensive digital supervision systems. Additionally, implementing a holistic approach that considers both technological and human factors is crucial for successful digital transformation in educational supervision.

Abstract

In recent years, the popularity of e-cigarettes has increased rapidly, especially among teenagers and young adults who consider them a safe alternative to tobacco cigarettes. However, these products still contain harmful substances, while many products on the market do not list adequate health warnings. This indicates potential violations of consumer protection and underscores loopholes in legal oversight that allow business actors to ignore these obligations. The lack of clarity of labels and misleading advertisements poses health risks that consumers are not aware of, especially for the younger generation who are vulnerable to these promotions. This study examines the legal responsibility of business actors in fulfilling health labeling obligations in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law and Government Regulations related to addictive substances. With a normative juridical method, this study assesses the regulation of labeling e-cigarette products and the need for stricter policies. The results of the study are expected to provide policy recommendations to improve regulations and increase supervision, so that consumers' rights to health information are fulfilled and the e-cigarette industry is more responsible in prioritizing public health.

Abstract

Legal protection concerning information security and personal data in Indonesia continues to evolve. While regulations such as the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE) and Personal Data Protection regulations exist, their enforcement and effectiveness are still limited. Weak law enforcement, coupled with low public awareness, pose significant challenges to protecting e-commerce consumers. Additionally, the rapid advancement of technology often outpaces regulatory adjustments, creating a gap in ensuring comprehensive information security. This study employs a normative legal method, utilizing secondary data analysis from legal documents and relevant literature. The findings indicate that while a solid legal framework is in place, the implementation remains insufficient. To address this, adaptive regulatory updates, increased supervision, and enhanced law enforcement are imperative. Furthermore, collaboration between the government, industry stakeholders, civil society, and educational initiatives are crucial in promoting consumer awareness and safeguarding personal data. This holistic approach aims to strengthen legal protection for information security in the e-commerce sector, fostering a safer and more secure digital environment.
